The 80th Annual Spirit-Hill-Ogema 4-H Fair is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13 at the Spirit Town Hall, located on State Highway 86.
Members of the Happy Hoboes., Hillbillies, and Hamburg Hawks 4-H Clubs will be participating.
Entry night is Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. and exhibits judging will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
"Kraft's Kuddly Kritter's" Petting Zoo will be on the grounds Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and a brat fry style lunch will be served from 11 a.m.to 2 p.m. Outdoor games and contests will begin at 12:30 p.m., and at 3 p.m., exhibitors can take their fair entries home.
Tours of the historic Our Yesterday House will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, as well.
The fair will conclude with a program of skits and awards starting at 7 p.m.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday
9:00 a.m. - Fair set up
Help needed to move and set up tables, lattice boards, canopies, and benches. Many hands make light work!
5:00-8:00 p.m. - Entry night
Parking available in the west and east parking lots.
All hall exhibits and posters for live animals brought in; animals may come this evening or Saturday morning.
Items for silent auction collected during soliciting should be turned in to the secretary.
Saturday
Parking available in the west parking lot and in the field north of hall (enter from Four Oaks Rd.)
9:00 a.m. - In-hall exhibit judging begins
9:00-2:00 - Silent auction (in the hall)
9:00-12:00 - Kraft's Kuddly Kritters petting zoo on site
9:00-3:00 - "Our Yesterday House" open, tours available
9:00 - Pig judging
9:15 - Sheep judging (east parking lot) & Poultry judging (by the shed)
9:45 - Dairy Cattle judging (east parking lot) & Rabbit judging (by the shed)
10:00 - Goat judging (east parking lot)
10:30 - Beef Cattle judging (east parking lot)
10:45 - Horse judging (horse arena north of hall)
11:00-2:00 - Lunch available (town hall basement)
12:30-3:00 - Egg Toss, Tug-o-War, and other games (east parking lot)
2:00 p.m. - Silent auction bidding ends (items may be picked up from secretary after 2:15)
3:00 p.m. - All exhibits may leave the fairgrounds
7:00 p.m. - Evening program: club entertainment; presentation of trophies and awards; fair royalty.
