The Knox Creek Heritage Center in Brantwood, WI, dedicated to preserving the heritage of the pioneers that settled these great Northwoods, will be hosting “A Mid-Summer Celebration” on Saturday, June 22, 2024.  This is one of four annual fund-raisers since being established in 1995.

The grounds will be open at 11:00 a.m. for everyone to experience historic buildings and artifacts.  Local crafters will be on site displaying their wares.  Home-made Finnish bread and pulla (a cardamom braid) will be available for sale.  A dinner will be served with grilled burgers, brats, and hot dogs (for the kids) with all the fixings and will be served from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by Randy “Rupert” Jones.

According to the Knox Creek Heritage Center, "We are looking for anyone who can help with putting on this event; in the kitchen, serving, cleaning up afterward.  Please reach out to Kevin Wollemann; President at 715-551-5967 to commit to helping for the day.  We are also seeking individuals and families to become part of KCHC.  By becoming a member, you can help maintain our unique historical site.  We also have several major projects planned and are asking for additional funds, through donations, to make these dreams come true.  Any donation of time and/or money will be greatly appreciated.  Some of the buildings (we have nine) are older than 100 years and need some TLC.  We hope to see you all there for a great 'A Mid-Summer Celebration'” and our next event, 'A Country Afternoon' on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
