On July 9, 2022 at approximately 9:54 a.m., the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office received a report of what appeared to be a deceased subject lying in the ditch approximately 1/2 mile east of County Highway E on County Highway O near the Black River Bridge in the Town of Little Black.
Taylor County deputies arrived on scene and confirmed a middle-aged white male was lying in the ditch near the water and was deceased.
The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office investigation into the incident has determined the deceased to be 48-year old Keith A. Binder of Medford, Wisconsin. Preliminary findings have indicated the victim had been dead for up to 24 hours at the location he was found.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death but at this time no foul play is expected.
