Do you love helping people and connecting them with the resources they need? The Phillips Public Library is currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Adult Services / Front Desk Librarian. You will assist customers by checking materials in and out, processing library card applications, and transferring library materials between customers and shelves. This position is also in charge of planning and facilitating all adult programming and outreach for the library.
Our ideal candidate can work independently with minimal direction, follow procedures, prioritize and multi-task, be a reliable team player with a strong commitment to customer service, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in general computing, hardware, software, and Microsoft Office is required. A high school diploma or GED is required.
This is a full-time position with daytime hours year-round and some Saturday hours in the winter. Sick leave, vacation, and health insurance are included through the City of Phillips.
